My son and I just moved from a small town in Texas to just outside of Dallas, and he plays in the basbeall league ages 15-17. he is 15. They have a mandatory cup rule for all players. in our old town, cups werent required. and I dont think my son should need to wear a cup at all. especially since he is a pitcher, not a catcher. cups are really not that important because the kids arent that good anyways

I know cups are important for men, but at 15, how sensitive could he be?

  1. For goodness sake, how many times are you going to ask this same question, if the team's rule is MANDATORY that he wears a cup, then bloody wear the cup, your son isn't god, and all the kids must be equal, either he wears the cup or get out of that sport. goodness you really need to get over yourself, the rules are the same for everyone.

  2. Even though your son is only 15 trust me he needs to wear one. Even though he is just a pitcher a ball can be hit back at him and hit him down there. The kids may not be that good but if its a hard hit ball or something he could get seriously hurt. It's the same thing for 15 year old as it is for men.

  3. How many times are you going to ask this, seriously?

    MOVE ON!

  4. Ouch, I'm a female and was hit there when I was pitching, I was only 13 and I was black and blue for a long time. Yes! He needs to wear a cup, unless he doesn't care about pain. Teens can hit really hard, that is why there have been some deaths when balls have hit teens in the head.

  5. You are missing the point.  It is a rule for all players, so get the cup if he wants to play.  We all have to play by the rules, and at 15, it's a good time to teach him that.

Also, if for some odd reason your son was to get hit, I am pretty sure you stance would change.

It's really not that much to ask for , especially if everyone else is wearing it too.

  6. Of course he must wear one.

  7. Do you have a fetish for your son and his cup? Stop asking this.

  8. Really sick of this questions - MOVE ON

Build yourself a little bridge and get over it.

He wears the cup, it's the rules. Now go and find a hobby and stop posting this.

  9. well duh you need one. just because they are younger doesnt mean that it is more  sensative
