  1. Homeopathy is very effective in children and pets(neither of whom give a rip OR have an opinion) the royal family of England is treated almost exclusively by this method and it is extensively used throughout the rest of Europe...

  2. Yes the idea is to treat the ailment with tiny amounts of medicine so the body will takeover and heal itself. Many people use it with great success.I myself prefer to use herbs and essential oils to treat what ails me.The only reason is that I was taught alot about herbs by my mother and I dont know as much about homeopathic medicine but yes I do beleive it works for some people. You need to remember that each persons body is made up of chemicals so each patient will respond diffrently based upon what other things are being put in their body.Things like junkfood, soda pop, allergy medicines and a wide variety of other things people ingest. All this does effect how you will respond to any treatment.

  3. Yes I do.  I've been using them for the last 5 years and have no problems with the dosage.  It's safe enough to use on pets and young children.

What do you think about Homeopathic remedies?

  4. Absolutely.  There are quite a few studies on the subject and the NIH is actually funding some studies.  Like with all medicines, some studies will  be pro and some con.

I've given my son's different remedies for ear infections, colds, etc., and I don't always get it right on the first try so we have to get a different remedy and they find relief.  If it was strictly placebo, they would get relief from the first dose and I wouldn't have to move onto a different remedy.

Read "Impossible Cure" by Amy Lansky.  She and her husband worked for NASA and recovered their child from autism using homeopathy and nutrition.  Also, check out www.bluedominoes.com, they have a homeopathy overview which is really helpful.

  5. i think they have a placebo effect, but what do i know, i believe in science.

  6. No, I don't. The science that explains how they are supposed to work is tenuous at best. The studies showing they do work is flawed and the makers of Zicam, a homeopathic cold treatment, just had to pay a $12 million settlement because their product did nothing.

  7. Only as placebos.  Nothing more.

"they are based on science..."  WRONG.

The only "science" they are based on is faulty beliefs from 200 years ago.  There is no "science" behind them.

  8. Homeopathic remedies really work. They are based on science but it's the application that is an art.

For so long we have been dictated to by "modern medicine" that you treat the symptoms but in Homeopathy you actually treat the cause of the symptom and that's why things take so long with Homeopathy. It's not a band-aid treatment, it treats people as individuals with individual issues.

    Hope this helps!
