I have solid scientific proof. If humans share 50% DNA of a banana 95% DNA of a monkey and 99.9999999...% DNA of a pirate then that means humans must have evolved from pirates! RAmen!

I think you are perhaps overestimating the barbarism of pirates, at least of the 1700s.  Life at that time was barbaric for everyone by today's standards but pirates were perhaps closer to modern ideals than the theocracy and oligarchy that existed in much of the world.  Pirate democracies, pirate access to medicine, and pirate economics were often better than the lot of colonists.
