Im 14, I've been a prolonged computer user. My vision is blurry now. I can't see from long range. Before i started using the computer my vision was PERFECT. Now im addicted to it, and my vision is blurry. Will my eyesight get better if i stop using the computer? or do i need glasses ? :P. thanks.

  1. ok well, it probably isn't the computer's fault... i was 14 when i started to notice that my eyes were blurry from a longer distance... it's probably just because it was time for your eyes to change and you just happened to be on the computer more... i have friends that use their computers even more than i do and they don't have glasses... you can't really avoid using the computer in today's fascination with technology. you should probably get glasses to help with your vision. good luck

  2. I think this will be another health concern for your generation.  Ask your parents to make an appointment to see an OPHTHALMOLOGIST, they are eye specialists that can detect all sorts of things regarding your sight.  If needed he/she will refer you to an OPTOMETRIST (a specialist in prescribing glasses).  This is something that shouldn't be let go, the earlier you see about it the better. It might be the computer or something else and they will help you either way.  Your sight isn't a thing to be taken lightly.  It might not be only the computer so see to it asap.
