Do you think i'm still short ?

I am a male teenager. When i was 15, i was 5ft 6 and my family said i was quite short (even though they are quite short themselves). This really did hurt my feelings. I am now 18, and i will be travelling to Japan to see them after 3 years. I measured myself yesterday & now i'm 6ft 1. Am i short / will they be suprised ?

6ft 1 is not short. My dad is shorter than me, i am 5ft 3 and my younger brother is 6ft!! Everyone is different so don't worry be happy lol.

you are not short you are in fact tall. and 5'6 is average for an adult male

I have had 2 boyfriends who were only 5'6 and they were in their mid to late 20s ... so you are def not short :)
