i've been getting highlights in my hair since the fifth grade.  I'm 14 now and it is died 3 different colors. You should be old enough.

No, I think that would be alright. I was getting highlights when I was 11. Just make sure that the highlights are not going to ruin your hair.

No way, I had highlights when I was 9 and my mom isn't irresponsible. It was subtle but you could tell I had them. Unless they are subtle (like not blond or orange) then you are not too young.
