Do you think i could be a model? And how do i do it?

I'm 5 ft 2" (and a bit) and would like to know if i could be a model? i know im short but id like to do underwear or hair modeling or something. ive looked around on the internet but it all looks a bit scary, is there an easy way to get work without a portfolio or anything?? (i'll add some pics so you can see me).

hm..yeah you look good...maybe you should model for hair not for underwear u look a bit old..like in ur 30's so yeah good luck try startin small..

I think you could do commercial and catalouge modeling. You're very pretty ^.^. It doesn't look like you're tall enough to do runway. You could look up modeling agencies online. Make sure they don't ask you to pay up front, that's a sure sign of a scam. Don't do Modeling Productions either, biggest scam I've ever seen.

your georgous! you could be a model for like magazines and stuff but probably not a runway model because your not tall enough (i know its g*y) but try to get an agent.. that would help u get work! oh and if they ask for money up front dont do it cuz theyre a scam... unless theyre asking for money so u can take classes

I don't think so.. you'll get a lot of people telling you to lose weight. I'm sure you've seen the catalogs for JCPenney, Dillards, etc. Their lingerie models are all about size 2.

It's a very hard industry to get into, and there is always someone taller, younger and prettier out there.

You need to be secure and confident with yourself because if you do go for castings there will be more rejections than work.

You look great as you are, but agents will tell you to lose weight, you don't have the right look and so on.  

A portfolio costs big money and I am sorry to say the photographer will take your money knowing you who has a chance and who doesn't. Try visiting a few agencies first before you pay.

Sorry to sound negative but as I say it is so hard and you are competing with thousands. Make sure you are strong enough to deal with criticism and negative comments because it will happen. No one deserves to be knocked when they are trying to get ahead in life.

You are pretty, but you def cannot do runway, way too short and sadly not skinny enough! Ridiculous, I know!!! You can prob do catalog or commercials for your hair or underwear like you want.

I would not go to an agency without a good porfolio and beware of false agenies that scam you for your money. Only go to agencies that have already establised credibility through word of mouth or names you know are worthy!

find a modeling agency, find a cheap photographer, even if it's dad with his digital camera, find some interesting backgrounds, get out you sunday suit and pose like crazy, while dad snaps loads of photos, then print them out buy a sketch book, print them big, stick m in, and decorate the space around them and take them to a modeling agency for the petite ladies about.
