my last period only lasted 2 days was really light! so i took a hpt & it came back a really faint positive! wen i did another it came bak negative!!

For the question, hun, Id say you are pregnant as a faint positive is more accurate then a negative :) Go into the doctors, for a blood test, or take another test in the next day or 2 :)

Yeaaa, i shud say you are seeen as you got a positive, sometimes you get a light period, during the early stages or pregnancy. x x x x

even a faint positive means positive. if i were you wait a few days and take another test. use your morning urine because it is the most potent with horomone. good luck =]

Congratulations!  You are pregnant.

HPTs do not give false positives - they can only show positive when they detect hCG in your urine.  The reason why it came back negative the second time may have been due to the urine being more diluted.

Take another test tomorrow with your first morning urine to confirm.

No, I don't believe you are pregnant, but if you do think you might be buy a more expensive test.  I am not putting you down by saying that, but when i was younger I brought 2cheap £5+ tests which as like yourself they both showed a faint positive.  Until I brought a better quality £10+ test I never got the correct answer..

As you have had a period as light as it may be, that tends to mean you aren't..x

You could be, try taking another test with the first mornings urine, which is FULL of hormones. Maybe the reaosn why is because you took the second test too late in the day when your urine was considered 'watered down'

could be ? i usually have a very light period that has a pinkie colour and last only a few days if you were in early stages of pregnancy it may not show up straight away, if your having period like pains but no bleeding you could well  be having a baby all the best hope iv helped you a little
