Ok, I know there is loads of questions like this on here but I would like to know whether I could do catalouge modeling. I have wanted to for ages and have researched agencies in my area but I don't know whether I have the right looks. Please could you tell me whether I could do it and what to do to improve my looks to get to be one maybe, if that is possible.

I'm female.

Fully English.

13 years old.

Big blue eyes.

Brunette hair that is shoulder length with layers and a side fringe, I'm growing it longer though, but I'm going to keep my layers and side fringe.

5 foot 6.

Size 10-12 tops.

Size 10 bottoms.

34B bra size.

Size 6 feet.

Tanned skin.

You go for it girl.

You might need a bit of practice with your posture - just standing up straight, shoulders back and down, head up, tummy pulled in, bottom pulled in, a little smile on your face.

You don't need any make-up just a clear skin.

Drink plenty of water.

You're too fat to catalogue model. I see bulges under your clothes. That's a dissgrace to designer's clothings. No one wants a model who looks awful in their clothes. So one way to improve your look is to lose a ton of weight. Your body wasn't made for modeling but you could always prove them wrong, perhaps. (Which is a hard thing to do!)

you are extremelly pretty , but you are not model material..

and modeling is really tough..

most of the models i know arent half as pretty as you : - )

they just have that "look" . It also depends on what kind of modeling you want to do.

Back to your question... i would say go for it... there is no harm in trying and to all the ignorant people.. your just jealous...!!! try calling some agencies or ask our parents... your under 18 so i think you would need their permission... good luck... :D

Truthfully I don't think you have the look that they go for.  You seem quite curvy and usually they want stick thin models - although that is a whole different debate.

The only thing you could do is just ask. As we say in the north "shy bairns get nowt" meaning if you don't ask you will never know!!

If you can get some photos done for a portfolio, try taking them around.  They will be better to advise you on whether or not you have the "look" that is required.

No way, sorry.

For a start you're WAY too young to do any type of modelling, you're too short (most models are at least 5"8)

and you don't really have a distinctive look to you.

You're too plain and boring.

I personally think you need to lose some weight if you want to do catalogues. And 5'6 for a 13 year old is pretty tall. I say you wait for 2 more years, then you'll be around 5'7 or 5'8 (you'd be growing massively in that kinda age) and THEN u can start losing weight. You dont wanna start losing weight now, like taking less protein & calsium & everything that's good for your body right now will only slow down your growth

Don't listen to stupid comments like the one from 'Thealmighty' no wonder so many girls are anorexic, how pathetic! Catalogue models are a different kettle of fish to catwalk models - so her/his comments are unimportant. If you are serious then take some good photos - get someone to do it for you, don't use your phone. Send them off to as many child modelling agencies as you can and see how it goes. You can model for all sorts of adverts too, not just catalogues so looking 'perfect' whatever that is - won't matter.
