i will be a sophomore this coming school year,

and last year, being a freshmen, it was my first time to run high school track.

i run the 800 and 400/4x4 but the 800 is my race.

i ran on varsity track and i got 5th at Regionals.

my best time as a freshmen was 2:23 in the 800

  1. Yes. You proabably need to get your time from 2:10-2:15! Good luck

  2. A sub 2:15 should do you fair enough to get one

  3. Your 800M is less than stellar but its too early to tell.... Track scholarships are hard to get so really push towards it

  4. its hard to tell since you just started. but if you really want a scholarship push yourself to get better. like the guy said they dont just give them out

  5. i dont know...so far your times arent too great my friend went nationals for the 800m as a freshmen and still didnt get a scholarship and she ran a 2:07 but if you can drop your time by 20sec b4 ur track career is over then u have a very good chance...so keep working on it and practice everyday

  6. if you run about 10 seconds faster in the next few years you will for sure get scholarship offers from a few good schools.

one of my friends got a full scholarship to Howard University.

she runs the 800 too, her best is 2:11.
