Do you think i have a shot at being recruited (Football)

I live in a small town in Maine with Class C football. I started as a freshman, and im now a sophmore...I play D End and Right Tackle...Im talented 6'2 230.....squat 315, bench 225....and im working out so much..but do i have a chance?

  2. At 6'2" 230, you have the size to play a few positions, depending on the size of the schools recruiting you. You can play Oline at a D3 school, but need to be 260 or so to play D1. If you're fast, you could be a LB. You never know, your only a sophmore. As others have said, performance matters most, unless your freakishly big or fast. Then they recruit you on poptential.

    And just being a sophmore, you have plenty of room to grow. My advise is to work hard in the weight room, on the field and most importantly in the classroom. By the time your a senior, you could be 6'4" 260lbs. Attend camps if your family can afford it, study football books.... anything to make you better.

  3. Nothin matters except your performance on the field. Just believe in youself and work harder than anyone on the field.
