  1. You need to share your concerns with a counselor or doctor. That way you can get the help you need.

  2. I'm not a psychiatrist, but personally I believe you are completly normal when it comes to talking to yourself in your head. I do the same thing. When I worry about having an illness my mind says negative things like "You have it" or "Go do something bad" when it's just myself making up the thoughts because I think its an illness. Hard to explain. About the disorganized thoughts, I think you might just be confused because you are worrying that you have schizophrenia. I have read that schizophrenics don't think there is something wrong with them, so if you were one you wouldn't be here asking if theres something wrong with you :D. I somewhat do the same thing you do when it comes to overanalyzing yourself. I read up on illnesses that I think I have and then I think I have those symptoms because I ask myself "Do I do this" and then I start to convince myself I do. If you are getting really concerned though, go see a psychiatrist.

  3. Dorothy,

You sound scared and I'm sorry you are feeling this way.  I can't tell you if what you are experiencing is anxiety or schizophrenia.  The sooner you go to a doctor, the sooner your symptoms will be brought under control.  Neither anxiety nor schizophrenia is something to be embarassed about.  It only seems scary because of ignorance. Movies and books have made it out to be a horrifying disease of lunatics, which it isn't.

The longer you wait to get help the harder it will be to help you.  It is only because most people with anxiety/schizophrenia try to hide their symptoms and don't seek medical attention that their condition gets worse.  Depending on the type and severity, the schizophrenia may get so bad that a person no longer realizes that they need help.

I have been married to my husband for almost 8 years and he has schizophrenia.  You wouldn't be able to recognize it because he has it managed by medication which allows him to lead a pretty normal life.

Good luck with getting the help you need.

  4. Well I Hear Voices.

    See Things.

Suffer From Bad Hyene Anti Socialness. And Insomnia

    I Get Terable Mood Changes

Im Almost 100% sure i have schizophrinia cause my aunt suffered from it too. and ended up killing herself.

but i refuse to go see anyoasbout it

  5. How old are you? People cannot typically be diagnosed with schizophrenia until adulthood and by your writing it seems like you are a teenager. You probably just have anxiety.

  6. No.  The diagnose calls for the presence of auditory or visual hallucinations.  Anxiety can be caused by many things.  Start out with a therapist.  They are trained to recognize potential mental illness and direct you to appropriate psychiatric help when necessary.

  7. Well my friend, it is not schizophrenia, but depersonalization.

it feels strange and awkward, like life is mechanical, or you are in a fictional state. This is just not the case!

From your question you ANSWERED YOUR OWN QUESTION!!

When you said you "over analyzed" your life, you thought to much into it! from your stress issues or anxiety it can cause you to keep on feeling wierd or "unreal" but you are DEFINITELY not.

basically what you did was make yourself THINK you were. but that is just the thing, it is a thought... which means....you guessed it, thoughts are but figments of the mind, they are not real, so inturn this feeling isn't real either it was fabricated by your mind. which also mean YOU CONTROL IT!!! HAHAHA!! so you can stop it WHENEVER ever you feel like it.

it is EXACTLY like when you THINK you are sink and then MAKE youself FEEL like you are sick. simple as that, but all along you are not sick!! simple as that, just the power of the mind hahahaha.

also to note, depersonalization IS NOT an illness, so it is not something you need to take medication for, or take physical theropy for, the only cure you have IS YOURSELF!!! you ARE the cure because this IS you.

God bless, and everytime you start to think about those thoughts, stop yourself by thinking about something else or doing something stupid to stop the thought from comming through, always works.

the best thing to realize os that this is not even an illness, so it isnt even happening, you are making it happen.

    GOD bless you.

  8. You ahve anxiety disorder. basically you think to much and are really just creating your own psychosis. The criteria that has to be met in order to be classified as having schizophrenia is- You have to hear voices outside or yourself...actual voices...the same as you would in a crowd and these voices would be talking to you ...not the voices in your head...This is what you learn when you take psychology in college. If you don't hear voices then that diagnosis is ruled out. Trust me it's written in the books. You have anxiety disorder. You think to much is all. I talk to myself all the time because i have this pent up anxiety and I try to avoid any situations that would make me feel " akward" or have more anxiety. Yep you sound like me....stuck inside your head thinking and worrying too much. Did you know that one of the symptoms of having an anxiety disorder are feelings/thoughts that one is losing control and going insane/slipping into anxiety. People who are scizo are completly out of touch with reality and hear voices that actually will tell them what to do-they think gods speaking to them-their dog-they can actually hear the tone of the voices the same way you and I could hear through our own ears our mon or dad saying soemthing. I think your just a worry wort.

  9. You don't sound like you have all the symptoms of schizophrenia.

Of course, a single visit with a psychiatrist is how you should really answer this question.

    --------------------------------------...

To inform the other answer-provider, split personality is being schizoid; this is different from having schizophrenia.

  10. Well, I talk to myself in the head and im sure im not schiziophrenic. Lots of people talk in their heads. It's a way to solve problems let it be mathematical, personal etc.

ur problem in the crowd is just shyness. Nothing to do with split personality.
