I don't want to sell it but i was just wondering what you think. It's a book of Robert Burns Poems and on the first page when you open it, there is a short poem written by hand dated in fancy letters as September 14th 1871 and they have drawn an elaborate border around it all in a quill pen it seems from a man (name stated) to a woman (name stated) i find it like my own piece of history, i'm not looking for money value from you, i'm just wondering if you think i should be treasuring it like i do?

  1. why not! it has a value already in that it has touched your heart.

you can always research the two names and who knows, they may be important names form a part of history locally. in which case a reproduction of the page in question would be of interest to historians and  locals.
