Do you think if Roby Gordon had more $ for cars & testing he would do better racing?

No. Robby Gordon has no talent for NASCAR.  All he can do is tear up equipment - his AND the competition's!

  Robby has spread himself thin.He is a good driver but was attempting so many types of racing that he did not concentrate on any one type racing.

Had he focused on NASCAR then I think he would be a better driver.

Well, GEM is just about ready to break him where he'll have NO money for cars and testing... so I'd have to say yes.  Could you imagine if he were the fourth driver for GEM like was originally planned?  It would have been AWESOME!  But, you gotta love the man for his independent spirit.

more money and testing can do nothing but help any team. look at the results at rfr when they caught up on testing the cot.

I think that if Robby Gordon had more money for testing and better cars he would be running much better in nascar.  He loves being an  owner/driver and does not want to drive for anyone else no matter how much money the offer him.  He is very proud and I think that proudness keeps him behind.  But that is ok because he does very well considering the circumstances.  I love Robby Gordon and I am happy that there is one driver/owner still left in the cup series.

I think more money and resources could help. But I also believe where he's concerned, his heart and mind are on Baja.

yes, with a srtuggling economy money is all you need to be sucessfull in ANY sport!!!!

No, he is supposedly a "road" racer and I haven't seen him win any of those recently either (NASCAR or otherwise)

Robby's a great driver, but a great driver who is underfunded is going to have sub-par equipment, and sub-par equipment doesn't win races.

I think he does a good job given his limited resources.

But I dare say, if he had the kind of corporate sponsorship and commercialization Mikey Waltrip has, he'd fair better.

If he would just race in NASCAR...yes...money = better cars...

I'd love to see him do well.
