  1. Why? Russians got it under control, and you answered your own question.

The Death Toll is mostly Russian Citizens, they have every right to blow the **** out of Georgia.

  2. RUSSIA is a PROVOCATIVE AGGRESSOR !!!

It started with Ossetian Provocations on the de facto borders. However, After little shootouts Georgia declared unilateral cease fire. It lasted several hours but Ossetian separatists - or let me say the ones that did not wish to stop - continued shooting and taking "lives of Georgian villagers".

Georgia was alarmed and decided to "restore constitutional order" in the region or maybe they meant over the ones that did not stop shooting. Anyhow, that is what Russians waited for so long and decided to "make them pay" (Vladimir Putin) for what they did. (what they did on their OWN sovereign territory.)

It was easy for them to mobilize troops because they have been stationed near the borders for WEEKS.http://mnweekly.ru/news/20080718/5533837...

prompting Georgia to think it was a well pre planned provocation. and that is what I think. Russia does not want Georgia to enter NATO. Russia does not want stable Georgia. I am sure they will find something with Ukraine too. Things like pro Russian region Crimea in Ukraine and so on and so forth to mount tensions and Black mail them. Very aggressive. War criminals !

    Source(s):

Days of sleepless nights and hundreds of Reliable news sources.

P.S. NEVER LISTEN TO RUSSIAN SOURCE ; such as russiatoday.ru and etc. Propaganda machine.

  3. hey the first shot was fired by georgia.if the west mostly america is not backing up georgia.georgia would never have dared to even say anything to Russia. The georgians are too coky think they can take on russian with America in the back stage.

  4. Its a sticky situation. I see a storm brewing and its going to be big.

  5. I say we STAY out of it; Everytime we go to help someone we end up looking like the bad guys.

Don't give the America hating liberals any fodder.

  6. it depends , there is a diplomatic process to follow , starting with lip service , followed by UN sanctions followed by real actions.

russia only wants south Odessia , if they stay there its likely that nothing will happen and the international communityy will let it lie.

russia wont invade the whole of georgia because they risk falling out with alot of powerful countries and there are alot worse things than being invaded , eg having all your trade cut off

if they did it would be an ENORMAS war probably because europe would go balistic and if europe gets angry , then the US gets angry and if the US gets angry Isreal gets angry and argo there will be a chain reaction , china would side with russia etc etc all h**l would break loose but it wont happen.

  7. whatever the mccain guy just said i almost completely disagree. If Georgia wants to start a war with a superpower(which Russia is), then they should be prepared to fight a war without all of a sudden getting assistance. It has gotten to the point where any country( like Georgia) thinks they can throw a punch, ask for a stop and then get the rest of the world to fight it for them. And of course Russia does not want them to join Nato because they oppose Nato. The people of south ossetia have every right to join russia.

  8. no way..russia can easily defeat almost any country except for the major superpowers..nations should act if russia wants to take over some big nation..and russians wont kill civilians for no reason they arent bad people.

  9. Unless your name is Houdini and you can make all Russian nukes dissapear forever, there's nothing the international community can do about it.
