Do you think if i send my demo/song to a record radio station they will play it?

if so tell me the radio station contact information plz and some tips on sending it if you know because i need to know how to get my song on the radio stations in major cites that A&R reps will be located like new your atl or california..

it would be greatly apprictiated GOD BLESS..

Every Friday @ 1:00 pm PST on the Frosty, Heidi, and Frank show in Los Angeles they have a segment called " Should I Stay Or Should I Go".  They allow bands from all over the country to submit their music for their listeners to hear.  The listeners then call in to vote for the band to either "Stay" or "Go".  If you're elected to "Stay", you get a shot at the battle of the bands they have every year.  And even if you don't get the "Stay" votes you get a whole lot of exposure.  If you're good enough, someone will look you up.

Most radio stations won't take demos like that and will only play regional or national artists who are being actively promoted...

Very rarely will it air and usually it will be on stations that have a homegrown music show hour and usually a station's website tells you how to submit, but usually it's smaller town stations (read forget those big markets)

Record reps will find you if you are good enough but takes events staged by them to promote yourself.

It is doubful that a radio station will play it. Radio stations receive hundreds of new CDs every week. Most records played on radio stations are the result of radio stations playing songs submitted to them by record promoters.
