i'm 15, and have read a few stories on 15-18 year olds starting up their own buisinesses because they really pushed themselves. they were just so persistent, and now they are some of the worlds highest paid people.

dp you think i will get into modelling if i really try? i'm committing, i really am i'm letting mey eye brows grow out so they can get proffesionally shaped, i'm doing certain excersises to get weight off my hips and legs.

i'm saving up enough money to get a proffesional photoshoot done. i'm taking classes on how to do my makeup.

i am so keen, and it isn't just a phase like most girls " oh i wanna be a model when i grow up" i really would kill to be one. i have since i was about 12.

do you think that i will get in? if i'm doing all this and am gunna keep trying?

  1. they probably might not let you in from my point of view unless i knew what you looked like in real life.

  2. Your profile pics are set to private.

If you're determined then you stand a better chance than most...just persist at trying to achieve your dreams. Be very careful tho that you don't do any glamour shots...they do get you noticed but no one else in the modelling world will touch you after.

    EDIT

You can do glamour shots if thats the road you want to go down, its hardly done Jordan any harm but if you do glamour, catwalk, and catalogue fashion agents are far less likely to want to use you, its seen as the lower end of the modelling scale.

  3. It's possible.  Keep in mind modeling is a very competitive field and there are many many young ladies who would kill to be Tyra, Naomi, Kate, etc...You are taking steps in the right direction.  You should see if your mom and dad can help you, or aunts uncles.

Make sure you never read in a paper or flyer about a modeling gig and decide to go audition on your own, there are just as many model rip off artist and abusers as there are models.  Please be very careful, don't let your excitement and desire interfere with good common sense, don't put yourself at risk.

It's important to have dreams, goals, and fantasies sometimes the do become realities.  Sometimes they don't,  just make sure in addition to grooming your body, face, and hair you are grooming your mind to be ready for an alternate career if the modeling fails.  So try and balance your focus little lady..  You should have shared your model moniker so YA people can see you on the covers and say you remember "_______" from YA she did it!!!!!!!!!

I wish you much success young lady, in modeling, and education.  Tossing that college tassel is way cuter than tossing your hair little lady.

  4. Modeling is a very competitive industry and I do believe you can do it if you believe you can do it. The key to success isn't really your height and weight and looks and makeup as much as your ability to network with an agent, school or anyone who can help you. The only way to achieve your goals is to set them and be realistic. Success is a jouney, not a destination.

  5. well its not just persistence...its also who you know, how you look and where you are coming from.

you also have to be willing to COMEPLETELY commit YOUR time to it.

while you hear of these success stories, have you looked into the failure stories...i mean its important to look at those so you can learn from them and find out things beforehand.
