  1. No I don't.

We'd have a hard time turning the Sahara into a forest anyway that we'd probably think getting clean coal to work easy by comparison.

  2. Glad you added that additional info - I thought it was to make shade!

You need to read about the Rain forest and how much oxygen it creates for us to breath --- zero!  It uses (through decomposition) as much oxygen as it creates.

Trees are not this eternal CO2 scrubbing machine.  They are alive and eventually, they die and give all that CO2 back (remember ashes to ashes, dust to dust . . .).

Before you spend (waste) your money on "carbon credits" so they can plant trees - think of a tree more like a bank or storage warehouse -- eventually all of the trees planted now, will be giving back their CO2 - to your kids (what a great plan)!

  3. Nope.  Sarahara Desert has been that way for thousands upon thousands of years.  Do you honestly believe that Global Warming made the Sahara Desert that way.  Smoke some more crack.

  4. no trees just store the gas and would eventuly put it back  n the air so just stalling global warming.

  5. It would potentially help depending on how it was done. And as for the Sahara being as old as time as some have basically said, that isn't true. Many deserts used to be lush with plant life. The Sahara is also growing, it is another problem called desertificaiton.
