The Titanic is a whole lot more famous now because of the drama of it's sinking than any other factor.  In LA there is a cruise ship terminal next to the Queen Mary.  In the Queen's day, she "ruled" the Atllantic, but next to modern ships she is a relic.

Titanic had two sisters..Britannic and Olympic. Britannic was lost in WW1 before she ever operated as a passenger ship

Olympic sailed  for 20 odd years , before being scrapped in 1935 , partially as a victim of the Great Depression but mostly because  she was outdated by then; so no, I doubt Titanic would be in use today.

I think that if the Titanic didn't hit the iceberg, it would have suffered other hull damage at some point. The steel used for the titanic was much more brittle than they thought, even for the standards of when it was built.  There was something wrong with the way the steel was made for the Titanic, maybe in the hardening process, or maybe the wrong alloy was mixed, but it wasn't as strong as it should have been, and I don't think it would have lasted over the years.

i highly doubt it as it would be to antiquated to be used today. it probably would be a floating museum somewhere. lets face it had coal fired boilers , it would cost a fortune to upgrade them to modern technology , not only that it could never meet the safety standards of today

Doubtful, I'm sure one of Hitler's "U-boats" would have made short work of that big baby.

A hundred year old ship -> not much chance of it still sailing.

It's a good chance that it would have been used as a troop carrier just like the Queen Mary during WW2.  I don't know if it would have been worth while to change the engines to oil fired.
