i left school like 5 months ago and i still don't have a job and never got into college i was to late aplying

i have a job interview as an aprentice hairdresser this week but if i don't get that job i will actually cry :(

with the economy so low, you should be happy that you have an interview, at least. People are trying desperately to find jobs right now and can't. Take this opportunity while it's still available.

5 months isnt a long time compared 2 some "lazys" Id say your trying but not as hard as you possibly could. I think not getting the job could actually be a good thing & light some fire under your lazy butt :) jk its tough now alot of people need jobs, hopefully after the elections things will get better. If you dont have alot of bills 2 pay Id say go 2 college b4 accepting some go-nowhere-job.

It sounds to me that you don't have any real goals. So therefore you are not lazy... you are just not motivated. You need something to strive towards. You would be lazy if you had a goal but couldn't be bothered trying to achieve it.

There are loads of jobs out there so go get one ANY ONE!

I don't think you are lazy but I think you need to be pro-active, go to all the reputable salons in your local area and hand them your CV - you need to do this now, any gaps in time where you are doing nothing is not going to look good to a prospective employee. They may feel that you are lazy and not a reliable person to take on for their business, it's something that only you can do, get it together and sort yourself a future out....now!  Good luck, you may not get the first job you apply for or are interviewed for but this is usually because a more suitable one is just around the corner - but they won't come to you you must go after them. Best wishes, you'll feel great when you are successful. x

If you don't have a job because you have been out looking and have just not been hired, then no you are not lazy.

But if you don't have a job because you just have not bothered to do anything about it, then yes I would call that lazy.

you just in a tough spot.  Just become more proactive and dont just apply to one job, apply to as many as you can.  Just pick your self up and dont put yourself down.  Good luck with the interview!!!!
