I think you are looking for attention, too.  You need to ask yourself why you want everyone to tell you that you are pretty all the time.  You don't want to focus so much on your outer appearance that you loose sight of who you are on the inside.  Do you know yourself?  Do you believe you are pretty on the inside?  You can't just hear "of course you are pretty" from everyone that's not good enough if you don't believe it.
