Do you think im spoiled

some of my friends think I'm spoiled just because i've had a cell phone since i was 7 and im 13 now and i have three ipods and a yorkie named precious wat do you think and my bedroom is the master bedroom

Not Really. My Bedroom was the master bedroom. My sister-in-laws kids have 2 dogs each 1 laptop, 2 closets,3 flat screens,(Their own kitchen,bathroom,room) So really,no! You don't even sound like you are telling the truth anyway.

my parents gave me a cell phone at 8 to be safe and be able to call them whenever i really needed them.

and i have 2 ipods.

yes u are. why would you need 3 ipods?? my advise to you is eventhough you get anything you want does not mean you are a bad person. just dont act like a stuck up. cause i  had a friend who was in the situation as you and she started to look down on me because i did not have what she had!!!!

Spoilt is as spoilt does. That means there is a difference between having lots of things and being spoilt. I don't know, maybe you are spoilt. (by the way, it can be spelled "spoilt" or "spoiled" for those who are reading this thinking I can't spell)The test would be to ask yourself "do I expect to get everything I ask for?" If you answer yourself "yes" then you're probably spoilt. If you answer yourself (truthfully) "no" then maybe you're not spoilt.

You've got some good things going for you. It doesn't matter what you have it's whether you act spoiled or not. I've known some people that came from wealthy families but they didn't rub it in other peoples faces and they understood when we couldn't all afford what they could or go out and do what they could.

I've also known some people who got mad when we couldn't afford to keep up with them... that's what's important. Don't act spoiled and it won't matter what you have or don't have!

Nah, your just as spoiled as me or my friends. I've seen enough from these question that you want to be told you are spoiled because it makes you feel better than everyone else.

I get a new cell phone every 6 months although I have only had one since I was 10 years old (now I'm 13 years old), I have five iPods because I have each version. My bedroom is the second largest in the house (falling short to the master bedroom) but I have two beds, two coaches, a desk, two dressers, to book shelves, a bathroom, a night stand, and a walk-in closet.

spoiled is an odd word. the only way to be truely spoiled is to have alot, never appriciate it and take it for granted, constantly asking for something bigger, newer, or more expensive.

first, its ok to have a dog, others name theirs hersheys or snickers, duznt mean they constantly eat. 3 ipods? I do have no idea what you need three for, I say give them to your friends or sell 2 of them 2 raise money 2 show your friends you're not spoiled.

as for the cell phone, there's absolutly no reason a SEVEN year old needs a cell, don't try to justify it. its against the law to be home alone under 12 i believe, so you dont need a cell to reach your parents while you're alone. I can't imagine where a seven year old would go that would let them be alone where they would need to reach a parent; they are incessantly supervised. maybe a pre-paid ten dollar cell for emergencies MAYBE. but a regular cell? that sort of explains why your friend would think you were spoiled from a young age.

Best option? Give away 2 of you ipods to show them otherwise

ehm. well i know a girl that had a cellphone since she was like 9 and i thinkshes a brat cuz shes always crying to her mom and complaining. but i dont know u. u sound alrite. if ppl think ur spoiled, obviously they wish they had wat u have. i wud call u spoiled if i was joking around. but wat do i get for hating u for being spoiled?? absolutely nothing. hah so dont worry about it, be happy about the things u have.

that's not spoiled. i have all of the ipods (except touch, I'm getting the iphone instead) and a cell phone too and i don't think i'm spoiled. you probably have more things then your friends so they think you are fortunate

I have a cell phone had it since I was in 1st grade...

I have 3 golden retrievers, a bird, and a hamster...

I have my own Macbook, video ipod, DS, and a Wii we all share...also a Ps2 and a Gamecube...

a TV in my room (there are 11 TVs in my house)...and 7 computers total. We live in a very big house. The only thing that is strange is that you have three ipods and have the master bedroom. Normal families have the parents sleep in the master bedroom, by taking that you're being a brat. My parents sleep in the master bedroom. Let me guess you're a only child?

I'm thirteen and a only child so I'm very luck/very spoiled.

Not to boast or anything but I have two iPods (old Nano and iTouch), my own computer, a Wii, my own laptop, the second biggest bedroom in the house and the spare bedroom is my own sitting room in which I have a cream leather recliner seatee. Also I have a Samsung mobile which was very dear at the time and I'm getting my new Samsung Tocco today. Plus I got a big stretch hummer limo ride with my friends for my birthday.

I think that proves I'm spoiled!

It's just natural for you to be spoiled if you're a only child even if your parents don't have much money. If you have more than two brothers or sisters who live with you them I must say your parents must have a bit of money.

BTW I live in a three bedroom flat with my Mum (she's a single parent).

As long as you don't act spoilt - boast/show off about how much stuff you have, take a tantrum when you don't get something and spend your money on junk just because you know your Mum or dad will go and buy what you really wanted off their money next week.

Technically I wouldn't say you're spoilt just lucky.

I got a cell phone when I was young, too, because I was always afraid I wouldn't get picked up, or I'd miss the bus, or something.  It doesn't mean we're spoiled, we're just safe.  If you are grateful for everything you have, you are not spoiled, just lucky.

i think what makes you spoiled is if your parents give you what you want to avoid confrontation. I am not sure what you need 3 ipods for, but whatever, my 13 year old brother has an itouch, and my other brother got his own dog when he was 11. it isn't what you have that makes you spoiled.... do you whine and beg until you get what you want? do your parents do whatever you desire? if so, then yeah your spoiled.

It's not really how much you have that makes you spoiled.  It is more about how you react to needing more.  Do you stomp your feet and slam doors and things, till you get your own way?

You do have a lot of things.  Hopefully, you appreciate them, and are thankful for them.  If you are kind to others, and do your best to help them, then you are probably not spoiled.

you sound a little spoile- the cell phone is understandable since you took the bus and the dog doesn't matter but 3 ipods and the master bedroom!!!!???  Even if the ipods are different your parents still shouldn't have paid for 3! Why not give the shuffle to a relative as a present? Also, how did you get the master bedroom? That's for your  parents! The bedroom seems spoiled.

Many kids have had a cell phone since they were even younger like me... I have 4 iPods and 2 dogs...

The only thing that might be a little spolied is having the master bedroom...

I think you should be a normal teen and give your parents the master bedroom...
