We're already bald in so many areas such as arms, legs, body. All that's left is the pubes and the head, and with so many bald men nowadays, soon, we'll all be completely bald.

  1. yes.I saw a presentation that in the future ,due to lack of water or no water people will shave off their heads in order to use minimum amout of water and will remain completely naked due to lack of resources. This is not funny, laughers. This day will surely come, and we all are dreading this.It is a situation of complete misery.

  2. Yes and no.  The possibility of human evolution is endless, however, I am prone to believe that hair can be an evolutionary helpful in humans.

For instance, your hair in the nose helps in filtering the air pollutants.  If air pollution keeps on uprising then humans with less hair would mean a lesser fit to the environment and thus, it is more possible to have humans with 'hairy feature'.

  3. Interesting theory, although humans originally evolved hairless to eliminate parasites. Now, in this day and age, parasitic ticks and lice infestations are few and far between.

As you correctly stated, there a plenty of hairless people around. But this in my opinion is more of an expression of phenotypes than any natural tendency towards evolution. What I mean is, there are plenty of hairy and hairless people in the world. As the enviroment shifts in favour of hairy or hairless, the gene pool shifts as genes added or deleted and the ratios between the two shift.

So unless there was some post-apocalyptic-haireating-virus, humans will always have hair.

  4. NO

  5. No.

Baldness is a s*x-linked trait. which is carried only occurs in males. because for females the balness trait is covered up by the other long x. but in males the y is short so blandess is only in males. unless everyone goes to chemotherapy....or like something kills all hairs...highly unlikely. good question though =]

  6. Don't forget the eyebrows..Maybe If someday its attractive to have absolutely no body hair at all and people start shaving everything. It would no longer serve any purpose and just fade out as we evolve.

  7. Perhaps, some people believe that with all the preservatives and additives in foods these days, one day they will cause excessive hair loss. Then again some people believe with the increasing numbers of cancer patients more people will be on kimotherepy, causing hair loss.

  8. No.

Balding males have nothing to do with babies never growing hair.

There would have to be an advantage to being completely bald.  There would have to be a reason that completely bald people were having more babies than those with hair.
