  1. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AMUSEMENT PARKS!!!!!!!!!!

  2. not as long as places like Disney World & Universal continue to do things right.

    :o)

  3. I see on reason why not.

  4. AstroWorld was closed because of a CEO trying to appease stockholders in the interest of keeping his job.  He swore to the media that it was because of the "valuable" land the park sat on but look: almost 3 years later (one year and counting since it was sold) and it's still nothing more than overgrown weeds and grass.

Which ones are "set" to close?  With it being only the middle of April, there are still several parks that have yet to open.  If any were set to close, it would be way past public knowledge by now.  Those that simply aren't opening up--like Conneaut Lake or Alabama Adventures--are not permanently closed at this time.

Theme parks aren't going anywhere.  Number one, they make too many people too much money and number two, there's ALWAYS a demand for them.

  5. No they are building more every year. The existing ones are adding on. I am a carnival worker adn wish this were true. But it is not, they will continue to flourish for years to come.

  6. I think there will be more.  Places that are thriving now (big name places like six flags, disney, etc.) will branch out and open new parks in different states!  The problem, I think, will be how much it costs to go to them because prices just keep on going up--it's ridiculous!!

  7. unfortunatly yes and that is really bad

  8. astroworld was closed because of parking issues involving the Houston Texans and Relient Stadium and some other things to hard for me to explain. I doubt that Theme Parks wont be with us in the future, some parks like the ones we never heard of might close while the other ones either get to be known or stay the same, but the parks that are well known like cedar point, knotts berry farm, hersheypark, and every six flags are doubtful to go out of business, in fact Six flags is building a park that will be called Six Flags Dubailand in the middle east. So if we are still there in 2011 when it's suppose to open then our troops can have some fun while they are off, i bet they also have a prayer alert when it time for them to pray.
