  1. Anything is possible I guess.

The way the weather is going with all these floods, I wouldn't be at all surprised! It's a frightening thought though, isn't it?

I sure hope it's not in my time!!!

  2. Scientific study and theory extrapolation has shown that with rising sea levels, caused perhaps by the ice caps melting, East Anglia, large parts of Kent, and London all the way up to Westminster will be flooded. The Thames barrier is insufficient as it is to stop it.

  3. I hope so, because a few years ago the Met office published a picture of what might happen.  I'm going to have a lovely sea view from my hillside home in the Peak District!

  4. Don't want to scare you, but the Island of Britain has a long history of flooding.  It is by no means a new phenomenon - in spite of the modern Global Warming theorists.

You can find out if you are likely to be flooded where you live, if you visit the following website - put your post code into the slot provided  - - - -

Environment Agency - Home pageAre you at risk of flooding? Enter your postcode or placename to find out now. ... Author: The Environment Agency | enquiries@environment-agency.gov.uk.

Further don't want to scare you but back in Roman Britain the water table was 200- feet higher than it is today.

    Scare ye not . . . .

  5. I can recall the Met Office sketch/plan too. Fakenham in Norfolk was shown to be a future seaside town. House prices then started to rise there quicker than the national average. It would seem a number of people are resigned to what they feel is inevitable. Personally I think the potential for losing low lying land as very plausible.

  6. I doubt it.

  7. no the only thing what will happend is the goverment will destory more and more trees because they dont care about the enviroment so they think they doing us a favour by makin more houses but destroy parks and woodland areas

  8. If you see it on TV, it must come true....

UK will be overrun by Muslims eventually.

  9. It just can not happen unless a giant ice asteroid hits the earth. Most of the ice at the north and south poles is over water and already displacing its volume of water just like a boat or ship does. Most of the rest of it that is over land lies inside a mountain ringed valley that has been created over the last 100,000 or more years from the weight of the ice. Several scientists have estimated the amount that could actually reach the oceans and contribute to raising water levels. The best and most accurate answers ranged from six inches to three feet with the average of answers at about one foot.

The shock numbers given out by the global warming crowd are accurate and this 3 to 4 hundred foot sea level rise did happen and it is very well documented. What they do not tell you is that it happened 11,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age when the glacial covering of North America, Europe and Russia melted.
