  6. Yes he is going to stay. Ronaldo said that he wanted to leave because he was looking for new challenge and not because he doesn't like united. Now his stay may be longer than anyone expect because Real Madrid changed their attention to Quarisma... so you can say they forget Ronaldo!

He is staying for this season.  However, it is clear that he wanted to go and that he flirted a lot with Real Madrid.  There are numerous insinuations and interviews in which that transpired.   Thing is he is relatively early in his contract, so he was either going to have to leave for a MAMMOTH fee, or not go.   Conventional wisdom is that he'll leave next season anyway, but supposedly Manchester United are set to offer him a new contract.  If he gets a new contract, he'll be locked in, or again Madrid will have to come up with a MAMMOTH fee.  Because of who Real Madrid are, as long as Ronaldo is one of the top three players in the world, Madrid will always want to get him.  They cannot help themselves.

    But he's at Manchester United for next season.
