I'm Jamie, an American girl who lives in France and who is expecting her first child, a son who will be named Jacques. My partner and I we are planning a homebirth. We want to play music during labor and birth, for example: Faith Hill's (she resembles my "old lookalike") "There you'll be" for the moment that Jacques' head begin to crown my v****a and also Faith Hill's "Breathe" for the moment near the pushing stage. And many other songs while in labor ( Alizee's "Moi Lolita", classical, chill out, Kylie Minogue's "Especially for you" (my partner's choice)...
But we saw a music video on TV last night that we loved. It was the old hit by Kool & the Gang "Cherish". This is a very beautiful love song and my partner had the idea that we can dance this song very slowly while I'm in labor. We practised the dance and we felt so emotional. Do you think it will be a good idea to dance this song while in labor? Please, give me an answer!!
