These days everything in dubai is getting more n more expensive. They are adding tax and other expenses like salik,...so I scared we buy a house and one day they come with new rules and add lots of tax or not extending visa of u or ur family and who knows maybe ask us to leave their country...we as expatriates have no right and voice in country rules because we always remain guest.

  1. There is risk in any investment and one of the risks of buying property in Dubai is that you don't know what will happen to the laws for foreign owner property in Dubai in the future.

For me, the returns on investment are very high which would seem to justify the risk.

  2. My brother travels there withhis job and he said it is ok.

  3. I say if the price is right, buy.  Yes, it's still a risk, but that's what it's all about.  The prices are going up soo much though.

  4. i was once in dubai on tour to find a property   not a good idea  seems over hyped market which ll go for a natural collapse coz  selling for 101yrs  made of bad quality materials may not even last more than 25 yrs ,,, no good laws to govern  the property market ,,, if it rains these buildings leaks,,, after buying if you r outof the country  more than  six to eight months everything is lost .may be good for some arabs from areas like saudie who want some freedom in life  better to be a realestate broker  called as consultant  than a buyer

  5. definitely and the new rules and regulations are not stricter than other cosmopoliton countries with rich economies and about the visas, when u buy a property in dubai u and ur family are entitled to resident's visa or else whats the point

    Good luck
