if u go to a buffet and u need to pay if u leave some food on the plate

I'm not sure if I understand this question. Every buffet I've gone to, you have to pay no matter what.

Some Asian buffets do that. There is this Mangolian BBQ place in Santa Clara and they used to charge between $5-$10 for leaving food but wouldnt let you take it home in a doggie bag....but I think its actually illegal because you pay a set price for ALL YOU CAN EAT. So why would they charge you again....so dumb...so NO ITS NOT RIGHT!!!!

And that restaurant now allows you to take your food home if you cant finish it. And they no longer charge you.

well sort of yeah if they charge an etra percentage for wastage like most places do then it stops peoleing wasting food and it means that they can feed more customers

they generally let you go if you dont leave a bunch of food - but buffets would lose money if they let you take as much as you want and just eat a tiny bit - they dont have a problem if you eat it
