private university (unitar, PTPTL,Cosmopoint and etc) the weird thing is that this college/uni are able to get MQA and JPA recognition even though that their program are really bad. I'm not saying all Public Uni is bad.

If you compare to University that offer twinning program and International based University is not easy to graduate. 100 enroll maybe only 10 will graduate.

  1. There are many smart and capable people that graduate from public universities and I have come across quite a few of them in my workplace.  Therefore, it can't be all bad.

However with that said, there are also a few that I really really cannot understand how they made it through uni.  Seriously... they're so incapable of learning with their tidak apa attitude and the just pay me attitude that I really don't know what to do with them except recommend that they don't get past probation period.  >.<

Fortunately or unfortunately, public universities are not recognized outside Malaysia.  If you plan to work overseas in your future career, don't go for a public university.

  2. Well for diploma it is not a problem, for degree is a little bit hard i have few friends that still not yet graduating for our faculty course because of their final project and some subject... so there....

  3. If u do a twinning programme.....u get first hand lectures from the university............tutorial....esp plays a big part.........i had a friend who was a law student in MaLaysia and he could not cope with the LONDON U LLB...........hence he went to Tasmania and got his degree easily..............only for you to judge but today he's a Legal Adviser in Hong Kong for HSBC.........it's all mind over matters............and it also comes down to whether you have the aptitude and desire............TODAY A DEGREE NEVER GUARANTEES YOU A JOB, A JOB THAT YOU APPLY WITH A DEGREE HAS ANOTHER 30 DEGREE AND 10 MBA APPLYING FOR...............THE IMPORTANT Q IS?????? Do you have the soft skills???? Do U have what it takes to suceed in a demanding corporate world???? DO U as a graduate has the heart and soul to put in the effort to make you the man that everyone will respect in the ever demanding business world????

  4. Yes! I agree!

Seriously, not only it's easy to get diploma/degree there but it is d**n easy to enroll to. Plus if u'r a Bumi. My friends enter kementerian matriculation and I, however, stupidly go for scholarship and suffer doing A-Level (but at least wayyy better than doing australian matriculation).

Guess what, my friends passed their matrix with 4 flat and now they're doing medic, engine, etc in public uni. All of them said it's kacang to get good results in kementerian matrix. Since I applied for a uni that offer twinning program with other country, I have to take A level (shows that msian matrix is lousy n not worldly recognise).

Then, why do u think University that offer twinning program and International based University dont easily accept students graduated from msian pre-u, eh?

Still, most students who enroll in public uni graduated. Those who went to international uni/ twinning suffer all the way up.

  5. my mom n dad want me become wat they wan.. i cant relli choose which...

  6. Public University very easy

    Private one very hard

  7. Nothing is easy. You can forget about graduating if you don't attend classes, don't finish the assignments & fare badly in the exams.

It all depends on the individual. I've seen local graduates who are good & bad. The same goes for the overseas graduates, there are good & bad ones.

By the way, how well one does in studies is not a definate indication of how well one will fare in life & work.
