I'm a mom to three, my youngest is 5 months old. I have battled with food all my life I use to go days without eating because I was not hungry and then I would eat alot one day and it would keep me satified for a couple more days. Recently in the past 1 1/2 months I started my bad eating habits back up and lost 20lbs so far. I'm now down to 133lbs. The problem is in the past two months things have been getting a little more serious i think. I refuse to eat more that a couple hundred calories 300 sounds like to many now. I like to snack on lettuce because i heard it was a negative calorie food along with apples. I've been feeling guilty if I eat to much or I'll be afraid I will gain weight so I end up getting sick. I'm not sure what to do and on top of that when I do eat I will take 4 laxatives which is the recommened dose. I'm started to get ligh headed when I stand up sometimes almost where my vision is completly blurred. I've been getting alot of comments lately about my weight lose which makes me really happy. The more that Im thinking about what i'm writing I already know the answers im going to get. What should I do about this?

  1. Get yourself to the doctors so you can get help. Sounds like you have an eating disorder. Im like you was at the beginning, not eating all day coz im not hungry and then losing weight. Please go to the doctors sweetie. Its not healthy. xxxxxxxxx Lots of hugs xxxxx

  2. It's really not good that you've been so lightheaded lately. Especially because you do have children to take care of, you need to be in your best health. Talk to a doctor about this.

  3. I think you should go to see your GP and have a serious talk with him/her about what is going on in you life, i would suggest that you speak with a therapist as well.  You know that what you are doing to yourself is wrong, they will help you get on track and lose weight the healthy way.  What you have to remember is that you have 3 children to care for now (and this may sound harsh but) how are they going to grow up to be strong healthy people if you die from an eating disorder.
