If you are able to then I think it's a good idea, but it's difficult to obtain permanent residency.

Skilled workers are what we need! If you have qualifications and skills, then by all means try.

I've heard it is very hard to become a permanent resident though. Not sure about the laws and criteria you need to fit.

me, hubby & kids r moving from NZL to Aussie in August. I think for us its definately a good decision as everything in NZL is going up (food, gas etc...) except our wages which is just c**p! whubby is going into the mines & I'll do admin or something else, we just wanna make a life for our kids and Aussie is so beautiful & kiwis + Aussies get along gr8....even if we take the p!$$ outta eachother when it comes to sports & sheep hahaha lol
