  1. o yes its diffrent when u go its really loud then watching

  2. for example in a college basketball game, every point means something. all the the students would cheer and yell. you can't do that while watching TV as much fun as the live one.

and for one thing, what happens during commercial breaks? more pep and cheering. more freebies. more balloons.

then when your team wins, you get to celebrate with the whole audience. :-)

  3. watching on TV you get a better view of the action but watching live you get a better feel for the atmosphere without the hype created by the TV commentators.

While I don't mind going to the occasional live game, I prefer watching on TV because it's cheaper and you don't have to get to and from the game and sit next noisy or smelly people.

  4. Definitely yes. I went to a Phillies game recently and left with a new found respect of how good these athletes are at what they do. When you look at what you want to and not what the camera man is looking at, like when you watch the game on TV, you see the action from a different perspective. For example, from the stands the baseball diamond looked a lot smaller than it does on TV. Also for some reason the plays seem to happen faster. I saw a double play and was amazed at how fast the players moved to get the outs, and it was just a routine double play with not too much urgency. Seeing a fast ground ball on TV looks fast, but actually seeing it at the game it seems like lightening. I saw this one grounder hit so fast to short stop that when the short stop caught it I could hear the impact, and I was seated in the center field stands.

  5. I think it's soo much more fun watching the games in person. I'm a huge people watcher and for Packer games...ooooh drunk people are entertaining. And it's just the atmosphere, being around fellow fans and picking on the opponent fans that brave to go to the game. You tend to not get that when you're watching it at home or in bars.

But watching it on TV is nice too because you can actually see what's going on. I fall for every fake there is on the field when I'm at a game. It isn't that hard to follow the ball on TV because the cameras tend to follow them.

  6. the noise is way louder for one, and you get major adrenaline when your there in person. the overall atmosphere is just better. All the noise gets you hyped up :]
