  1. It is a somewhat lengthy process, also a 52" plasma is very heavy.  You may want at least two people there.

  2. yes and no. if you don't know what you are doing yes it can be difficult and you could end up with a $2k tv hitting the floor! if you know what your doing its not a big job. i would think that it would be worth paying someone licensed & bonded for the peace of mind! if it hits the floor you have someone to go after

  3. Should not be a problem.  Just be sure to spend decent money on the mounting bracket and make sure (before you buy it) that the mount can hold the amount of weight of your TV plus a few more pounds for accidental bumps!

  4. Should have a shelf, anchored to the wall

  5. its not too difficult actually, its just a long process.  i mounted my 52" lcd in 3 days but thats because i took small steps and had to re-route exixting in wall wiring, install a horizontal beam, and had to wall mount and wire speakers.

  6. No.  It shouldn't take a person with general skills longer than 2 hours to so.  find two studs, predrill, bolt one s***w, level bracket and then predrill and s***w the other three.  Thats all you need to do
