I recently went up this mountain on a walk. I was really excited because i could see that there was snow on it. As we were going up we had a lot of fun. Snowball fights and stuff but as we got higher i realised the snow was getting deeper rapidly. I had always wanted to be waist high in snow but when i was i was freezing you had to wade through it and it was very hard to get out of a hole once you fell into it. The hails didn't hepl either^_^

But either way i will never forget it and i thought it was really fun no matter how cold it was. I hadn't laughed so much in a long timeHas anyone else been waist high in snow or had a snow experience??

  1. Yes, one time when there was a blizzard.

    It was AWESOME.

    And very good exercise!

  2. No, snow sucks!! I live in Michigan we get to much of it and I hate it!!

  3. yeah

    !

  4. A couple of years ago, my friends and and I had fourfoot high snow drifts were we lived.

We climbed onto the roof of my mates one level house, and jumped off it into the snow, doing cartoon style landings, leaving a imprint of our body.

The challenge was to get out without wrecking it. It was fun... and then we all got colds... :P

  5. Hi!

Being from upstate New York I have tons of snow experiences. I enjoyed much of my youth in the snow before moving to sunny Florida.

My best "snow experience" was the year I got my first set of skiis. We lived in the last house on our street, way up at the top of the hill. In the winter our hill was pretty popular in the neighborhood and everyone would come with their sleds and play for hours. One year I got new skiis for Christmas. I loved going down the hill over and over again with those new skiis. Well, one night it both snowed and rained. The end result was an a rediculously icy hill. That didn't stop me, the next morning I strapped on my skiis and headed right up that hill. This time I decided to use the mound at the bottom of the hill created by the morning snow plow as my "Olympic Ski Jump". You can only imagine the site as I tore down the hill, over the snow plow mound and flew through the air. My brothers tell me my form was beautiful as I sailed through the air. My landing however was a little less attractive, I slammed right into the mailbox and landed flat on my face with my skiis still strapped to my feet!!!! That's my best "snow experience".

  6. yess

  7. I loved it when I was 3 feet tall, but not so much now that I am 6 feet tall..............It seems deeper...

I would like a little more snow than we have had in the past few years, in northern Mn we have "just missed" all the big snow the rest of the country got plastered with over the past decade.

  8. very fun

  9. Yes, being waist high in snow is fun as long as you are equipped for it and just having a good old time with others. The worse thing about it is cleaning it out of your driveway and walk way. I love to take my grandson out in the snow to build a snowman, make snow angels, build a fort and have a good old fashion snowball fight. I'm so glad it tires him out at times though! I'm glad to hear you had such a wonderful time, it doesn't hurt anything feeling like a kid again, in fact it kind of rejuvenates you.

  10. Upstate NY in the late 60's, we had a blizzard that left drifts that covered 2ND story windows. I stepped off our porch roof and sank down to the front porch. Boy were my folks surprised to hear a knock at that door. We were not only waist deep but had snow forts and tunnels like you wouldn't believe. Cold? Very but we were having so much fun it just didn't matter. Snow is fun!!!!!! {:<{)

  11. yep! and it sounds awesome! Truly glad you had such a fantastic time, it's often great to be a big kid again isn't it? A memory you will take with you always.

  12. yep in italy in the mountains was fun

  13. No, it's not, especially if you have to shovel it.    We just got over one of the worst winters ever.  We had snowbanks on either side of the driveway that were easily 12 feet high.   It's been warm for a month now, and we still have snow piled up everywhere
