Do you think it's possible to love someone so much that you feel physical pain ?

I am so in love with someone and I swear that when I am really longing for him I have chest pain. Sometimes I get this pain somewhere deep inside of me because I miss him so much that I can hardly stand it. I know it's not a g*y relationship but I relate so much to Brokeback Mountain because my love for him is so deep, and yet I can't have him. I also had a similar thing with a girl who I still love to this day, and our love was also forbidden because of both being girls and so young. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to break down. I believe this is part of being deeply in love with someone. Can anyone relate?

not to criticize but no1 really no's what love is we all feel different when it come to love unfortually i dont believe have ever loved someone if your feeling this pain it may be cos you do love him, but i dont think it cos your deeply in love with him i think it may just be you telling your self that you hurt beacause you love him. hope i was help full

I can totally relate to this situation and unfortunately there is no real relief from it. I could feel myself in Ennis Delmar in Brokeback Mountain. It hurts, I know, but there is nothing that you can do to make your love known or to have your reality. Sometimes you just have to move on...

Good luck with your situation and I am sorry that you had to experience that at such an early age, but it will only make you a stronger person.

Yes, I can relate and totally understand what you're saying.  I'm very much in love with someone that I can't be with now and I miss them so much all the time that my body physically aches and my chest feels tight.  I can't imagine not being able to be with them.  I wonder if someone can die from being without the one they love.
