Anything is possible.  What I can see would be a great recession, which for many would be just as bad.

I think there are too many checks and balances today that would make the depression scenario much more difficult than it was in the 30's.

The market did break 11,000 again today.  I wonder when it will break 10,000 again?

I'm PRETTY sure we've been in one for some time now...they're just not CALLING it that, because the Bush admin. has such power, they've used it to not make themselves lose their remaining 25% approval rating!!!

According to a recent statistic on NBC, SIXTY PER CENT of average, working families have to regularly borrow money (and NOT from credit card companies!) FOR FOOD and other necessities!!! If it ain't a depression, then it's close enough to call, as I see it.
