  1. Yes, it's incredibly rude. My stepdaughter does this constantly, and I get so aggravated. Don't hide behind your phone. If you are uncomfortable, learn to deal with it in a productive manner.

  2. I think it's rude to text when you're bothering other people doing it.  Like if you're checking out at the grocery store or out with other people.  I have a coworker who had a small wedding ceremony (we're talking 10 people max), and she has pictures of one of her best friends in the audience texting.  It's the first thing I noticed in the pictures, and I wasn't the only one.  I don't think you can get much ruder than that.  As long as you're not in the way or at some sort of social function, I don't think it's rude.

  3. I think it depends on where and when you're texting.  For instance, if you're chatting during a class or while someone is giving a speech, then yes, it's very rude.  But, if you're sitting at the doctor's office waiting for your name to be called, no, it's fine (as long as the phone is muted so no ringtone sounds).

    :)

  4. it's none of there d**n business.

  5. yess because u never kno if they could be talking about u or making fun of u or anything :(
