Do you think it's time that medals are given depending on the amount of players who get to play in the area?

Like 5 for basketball, 11 for soccer, 1 for swimming, etc. Because it's really unfair for team sports to just be counted as one medal! What do you guys think?

  1. 1 event, 1 medal. It will drastically change the medal count if every team member's gold count in the medal count. It will make individual events less important. You should be glad that they have extra events for individuals to win more gold in as a team. Counting every team Gold is a bad idea, especially for the smaller nations. It's hard enough for the little guys to win at the medal count as it is jeez.

  2. h**l ya i do! it isn't the fault of the big countries that the small ones just suck at team sports. maybe if they trained better they'd get into the team sports and if they don't have the money for sports heck you can't blame the big ones. but not for this olympics though cuz the cheating chinks will just all of a sudden win basketball because the US team wer all shot like the monks

  3. No. Swimming relays they only get one. it's for one thing. why should other sports get more? a race is just like competitions. the people in last place just get eliminated first. it's fine to me.

  4. thats why success in olympics should be the longer you are winning the better olympian you are. not how many gold medals. Because some sports only have 1 medal, so if the same person wins it say 3 olympics in a row thats the best an olympian can get.

not taking anything away from phelps here, he is by far the best swimmer out there.
