Question:

Do you think it's worth saving up money and flying to Finland just to see a concert?

I'm from the U.S. and my cousin and I are really big fans of this band that is not famous in the U.S., only Europe. They have an upcoming concert towards the end of February and we were thinking about going. We've never been out of the country and my life goal is to travel the world, so this would be a good start. Any ideas?

  1. Just to see a concert, NO. To see Finland and enjoy their culture, Yes.

  2. Definitely worth it, especially if you love the band.

  3. It would be good if you stayed theyre like a week before or a week after the convert to be a world traveler and you could see the concert so i guess its worth it.

  4. yes, only if you go on sky bus. you can go to finland for like only 300 dollars!! Its so cheap! if you go on any other air line, i dont think its worth it.

  5. yes go for it

    follow your dreams

  6. i think it's great idea. u'll see a cool different country. it'll be fun and someting u'll remember forever because it'll be a first. ALSO, if u do go u can check out Estonia, the nearby country. it's only about an hour and a half away by boat ($20 bucks or so) and it's amazing looking. it's not as modern as helsinki (if that's where ur going)...there's an "Old Town" in the capital city Tallinn:

sry if i went astray, just that if u go, which i think u should, u shouldn't pass up expericening everything:)

    *don't forget, u still need hotel $

  7. i would say go for it. you only live once!! you would regret it later if you didn't go.

  8. GO FOR IT! YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!

  9. h**l ******** no

  10. if you can do it, go for it! just do something more than go to the concert.

  11. h**l YES!!!!!!!!!! There's ALOT that you have to prepare  for (like passports and other)and it will cost you ALOT of money, however the experience of going to another country to see a concert the entire experience will be AMAZING I promise you even if everything goes wrong you still worked hard to get there and it will be something you never forget so i suggest you do it LIVE your life to fullest work hard and get that money make sure you do alot of research about traveling and the country you want to go to and you will have an amazing time.

  12. Yes **** it,

You only live once and it will be an experience to remember.

Do it before you get too tied down.

  13. if you like them that much then it would be well wroth it. hope you have lots of fun.

  14. don't listen to the "dream squawshers" as i call them if you want to go even a little bit and you can do it dont live and regret lol

  15. If you really love the band so much that you are willing, can afford to go and not compromising anything, why not?  It is an opportunity of a lifetime.  You don't want to sit and think later on what if you went?  Go and find out, have fun!

  16. Do you already have a passport? If not, you are out of luck.

Otherwise, YES, I think any excuse to go to another country, provided you can pay for it, is a good thing.  Don't go just for the concert, but do use it as an excuse to wander around Finland and see the sights.  My neighbors went to Ireland just to see U2 play.  They spent an additional 8 days visiting the country.  Good thing because due to his back injury, they can no longer travel at all.  Without that excuse, they wouldn't have gone.

  17. hmmm it could be worth it. it depends on how bad you want to go and while you are there you should try to make a vaca of it

  18. NO NEVER,  JUST SEE IT ON T.V!!!!

  19. Finland is the safest possible choice to start travelling. But just to see the concert I don't think it's worth it.
