  1. I really think that it is very unnecessary at that age and could cause psychological harm to the child

  2. Thats disgusting. Additionally, breast milk is not especially healthy for children past a certain age.

  3. i personally dont think its right-...unless the 8 yr old is already a perv and wants to suck its moms ****

    lol

    jk

    its the mothers choice

  4. No, you breastfeed an infant becuase they need the nutrician.  An 8 year old is quite capable of feeding without breast milk.  Besides that's just creepy.

  5. b*****s are not sexual organs, they are glands. Just because people are sexually aroused by them does not make them s*x organs. This extended breastfeeding has nothing to do with s*x.  Though I don't think the prolonged attachment to the mother for comfort is healthy, normal is different for everyone---and there is a chance these children will not be mentally harmed by this behavior.

  6. No I don't! I think women who brest feed an older child aren't doing it for the child.

  7. That is very unusual.

I don't think that is very "normal" for the development of a child.

  8. It's a bit over the top, but after watching the video my impression was that the family had a healthier understanding of it than I expected. I expected the mother to have some psychological issues being addressed through this behavior. Instead she seamed fairly well balanced and simply reluctant to force her kids to wean until they are ready. What is perverted or unhealthy are the people that react so strongly to it.

  9. In other countries, some children are breastfed up until 10.  It all depends on cultural norms.  If you were raised there, you would think it was perfectly acceptable.  I, however, am not breastfeeding past 6 months.

  10. I couldn't watch the video pass the halfway mark. I personally find it disturbing. I don't see what benefits a child that age could get out of breastfeeding.

  11. I think that's child molestation.

  12. It actually does no harm it may do some good,

I know this lady that breast feeds her 6 year old child.

And her kid has never broken a bone or needed to go to a dentist.

I think it's a little weird but if it doesn't harm your kid, or break any law, do wat u want.

    I personally wouldnt

kids can be cruel now a days.

  13. no it is gross and if the other one liked it so much why did she quit if anything she could at least pump that is wrong to let them suck like that imagine what their friendsthink if they go to school

  14. When the child is 8 years old this is no longer breastfeeding, but a mild form of molestation and child abuse. When this child becomes an adult s/he will realise how inappropriate it is to be nursed at such an age. I would suggest getting local authorities involved; this type of thing can cause more harm then the "so called" benefits of breastfeeding.

  15. i definitely think breast milk is good for all children however it should be stop at the latest by age 3, anything past that is not mentally proper.

  16. Breastmilk is very nutritious, but by 8 years old the child should be perfectly capable of getting the nutrients he needs from other food. I think 8 years old is way too old to breastfeed...personally I think it's creepy. But, if the kid's mom wants to do it, her milk will continue to flow as long as she nurses....I just wonder if he'll still be doing it when he's 20. Ewwww....

  17. Disgusting.  This should be considered child molestation.

  18. TBH

on opinion that is pretty gross.

That 8 year old will get bullied if his friends find out, don't put him in that postion.

  19. What the h**l??? that's disgusting....i only watched 1 minute 9 seconds of that. About to puke...those kids look like the children of the corn. The mom should be jailed for child molestation...that is just sick. Those kids are going to be messed up adults and probably sissified, spineless individuals . After a year breast feeding should stop. I live in Detroit, Michigan and the other day i was in the mall and i saw this woman who had a girl in a stroller...the girl looked like she was almost 7!! sucking her thumb!! some of these parents are so messed up. they're ruining their kids lives.

  20. No in my opinion it should be considered a form of abuse

that child should not be sucking on her mothers breast and her mother should not be allowing it

I think that she should be taught another way

it's not a safety net it is a way to stay connected with her daughter

    NOT NORMAL!!!

  21. OMG! Those girls are going to grow up with serious psycological issues!

It isn't uncommon for children to feel attached to a parent and even territorial, but this is an extreme case. They feel like they own their mother and they have a (possibly sexual) attachment to her b*****s -- I think it's safe to say this woman is not married. -- This is NOT normal!

These girls -- especially the one still brest feeding -- have an electra complex. Most children (from newborn to about the age of 4) have develop a sexually stimulated relationship with a parent (or both) -- however it's usually baby boys that are sexually stimulated by the mother (and a girl to the father) and even get a feeling of (I suppose you could say) being "horney". Obviously there are no men in the picture of these girls and this woman. -- Her husband isn't a real man he's loony! And is a complete push over. The woman just likes that her children like her and give her attention -- so she supports their unhealthy behavior.

I think it's safe to assuem her and her husband have NO s*x life! And yes, here in America, this is called child molestation.

But I definitely do not think this is normal.

  22. Despite what some others have posted, there is no point at which the milk suddenly dries up or becomes non-nutritious.

Nor is there any set point after which BFing suddenly becomes 'wrong'  or  'bad.' (And if there WAS a point, it certainly wouldn't be 'once a baby can ask' or 'once they can walk'. Many babies can 'ask' and are walking before they are a year old! )

Having said that, in our society BFing past the preschool years (4 or 5) would be very unusual.  I don't know enough about the situation to know what the rationale is behind this child still nursing -- so I can't possibly speculate if it's 'wrong' or not. Still, an adult cannot 'make' a child BF if he doesn't want to.  So I would assume that, for whatever reason, the child is still getting some sort of benefit.

  23. test has shown that that breast milk induced after the age of 4 will cause brain damage and liver failuar

    so no its not OK

  24. NO! I agree with someone who said it could cause psychological harm to the child. He might start having inappropriate feelings towards his mother. Gross!

  25. i was tlkin to my mom and we both belive that u are going to have to let ur child go at some point. its not the greatest thing 2 breast feed an 8 year old... it just isn't rite.. sure mabey a baby bottle.. cause thats ok... i'm not judgeing u i'm just saying that u should let ur child go and live a life were he/she drinks out of a cup

  26. I don't think that is normal...I mean the children are like obsessing over their mother breast...who draws pictures of that...gross

  27. My personal opinion, I think it's sick.  Even animals stop weaning after a short time.  Babies use pacifiers and when they are a certain age, they should be taken away.  I believe that weaning has a time limit.  Then there's regular milk and other sources.  Yukky...

  28. OK, so here's my take on the situation.

First of all, it's clearly not a sexual thing.  It is no more sexually-motivated than breast feeding an infant.  The problem that I have with it is that you have to teach your kids that in life they CAN'T always have access to what they want.  No reasonable parent would let their child take a bottle till they were 8, nor a pacifier.  It may be comforting to them, but you wouldn't let them do it.  Some kids like diapers, but you won't let them wear them just because they are 'comforting'.  It's ridiculous.  I think mom has seriously deluded herself in this respect and it serves not some sort of sick sexual thing, but some sort of psychological thing of not wanting to let her kids grow up.  I think it may stem from the fact  that this is something that ONLY she can give her kids.  As far as nutrition goes, while breast milk is probably healthy, if she was really doing it for health, then she could pump and put it into a cup for them... which would still be strange.  If it's just about comfort and attachment, well that's just dumb too... there are tons of ways to form bonds with your children.  these children are going to grow up and be embarrassed as all h**l about this.  They will be ashamed to tell people.  I find it very strange their 'obsession' with mom's b*****s as well.  they draw pictures of them.... they've named them?  That is just not a normal thing to do, and for the mother to encourage that sort of behavior seems weird.  These kids may be fine now, but when they hit teenage years and people begin to make fun of them an ostracize them they are going to have a whole different view of mom and her b*****s.

  29. Honestly I don't this it's okay. As you get older your body needs certain neutriants that breast milk cannot offer, like for example, milk. Breast feeding is suppose to slowly move children up to eating solid foods and drinking milk. Their stomach needs it. That, and I don't see how she's still breast feeding when normally your breast stop producing milk after like 2 years.

  30. I have to admit I am all for breast feeding but I was rather creeped out by this video.  If she wants her daughter to have breast milk, or her daughter wants it then she can express it...not feed from her mother's breast at the age of 8...ick.

  31. No I think its vvrong. vvhy vvould you still breastfeed an 8year old, I think its just perverted and they dont need breastmilk at that age, give the kids some milk in a cup.
