  1. ummm...i dont think its absolutely necessary for kids 2 wear uniforms cus just cus they r being forced to wear certain clothes doesn't make them care about less material things . cus then they just find something else , plus it makes you hate that type of clothing whether its a polo or khakis etc...though its not like i dont understand why ppl make kids wear uniforms. good luck i hope this helped

  2. I would not have thought so when I was in school, but there are benefits to wearing uniforms.  You never have to quibble over what to wear because it's already decided.  It makes differences between rich kids and poor kids less obvious, and differences between cliques less obvious.  Less to fight about, get teased about, get bullied about.  Usually "personal style" can be shown in hair, makeup, jewelry, belts, shoes, socks, even shoelaces.  So yeah, it's pretty much a good thing.

  3. naa you can't express yourself and define your own style as much

  4. it's good because kids won't get teased about their clothes, but there'll always be those mean kids who will find something about a person to tease them about. i think they should have GUIDELINES on what kids can wear in school, but no uniforms, because i think we should be able to express ourselves, partly through what we wear.

  5. It was a good thing that I had a uniform to wear to grammar and high school for one thing your parents didn't have to buy a few hundred dollars worth of clothing each year.

I came from a poor family but since we all wore uniforms you could never tell who was poor or who had money. Except on the one day we were allowed 'free dress' then it was pretty obvious who had money and who did not.I got a good education despite the fact my dad was a railroad laborer.

People I know that are college educated tell me they can't believe I "only had a high school education' because I know a little bit of everything. I don't think if I had gone to a public school that would have happened either.

  6. personally yes...I think it makes the students feel more like a big family-knowing that they all share the same clothes and the same school community...It also hinders social class discrimination as everyone dresses the same.

  7. i think it's ok

  8. i think uniforms are point less, i went to school where i had to wear a uniform from 1st all the way to 12th... it was dumb, there was no point in it.

  9. Yes. It makes them less caring for material things like what you wear rather than schoolwork and education. I think its neccessary for all grades up to 9th where its more important for teenagers to express themselves and what they choose to wear.

  10. i think uniforms aren't so bad. it forces you to think of different ways to show yourself as an individual. you also don't have to look for anything to wear in the morning because you know what you are wearing every day.

  11. i agree with answer number 4 they are pointless now there is a few things i do think are good about it kids wont dress in inappropriate clouths

  12. no i don't think so

i think people should be more open minded and accept others for who they are and what they like and not try to change who they are by making them wear a stupid uniform i once went to a school where they had uniforms requirements but then i don't go for to long even though it was a really nice school and the people were the nicest i have ever met but then i don't go for to long because they don't have the services i needed even though i can never forget the people that went their
