  1. Of course it isn't. I understand what you are saying, but the best racing this year would have been the Stewart/Reed match up. Yeah it's great for the guys that would not have gotten on the podium otherwise but for the spectators we just lost the chance to see some really great races between those two.  I actually look forward to the lites class more than the premium class now because the competition is closer.

  2. Makes for more exiting races.

  3. NO, NO, and NO......

It is never good to see someone get hurt....PERIOD!!!

even if it makes the racing better.....

Reed, Windham, Alessi and the others have found more speed this year, and it shows. True, Reed has won all but one race, where he lost to Stewart, but look how close the racing is this year....

Carmichael and Stewart were in thier own worlds last year with thier speed, but this year, the riders were a lot closer in lap times.

I think Reed would have won the championship anyway you look at it, with Stewart in or out. He is more of a consistant rider than James.

  4. I don't believe it is ever good for a rider to be injured.  Stewart being out there is a measure for other riders to achieve to.  It is never a good race when you win because someone else either went down or whose bike blew up and always better to win by achievement.  So I don't really think it a good thing that he is out due to injury.  Reed may well have had his measure anyway and now will have to wear the crown with people stating he only won as Stewart was out.

Many riders just love to be out there with the best and feel just on top of the world if they are able to match speed with them.

  5. No, I wish Stewart could have done his thing during the supercross season.... I am bummed personally.  i feel bad too for the riders that are amazing will more than likely wonder if they were competing against Bubba would they have one the championship... that sucks for both parties... I think Chad Reed is amazing rider and very talented but that has to bother him a bit that Bubba and him aren't competing amonst each other and is he the #1 because of it. i felt bad for him when it happend with Carmichel now to have be with Bubba it just stinks for him.. because I know he is talented but against those two I am not 100% sure which way the time would be...   At the end of the day I hope whomever wins know they are talented and amazing regardless... but not too sure if t is not in their heads...

  6. No.  Stewart and Reed are competitive, but with Stewart out Reed will run away with the title.

  7. I believe it is great, not that Stewart got hurt but it opens up alot of opportunities for riders that aren't as good. It also makes for good TV because you have all of these great battles between other racers now that they actually have a chance to win.

  8. I think it'll give more opportunities for guys like Chad Reed and Kevin Windham to have stellar years, which they are.  I think it'll be a learning experience for bubba also because he has a tendency to charge up into the lead of the pack and crash, but get back up again and somehow win.  it finally came back to haunt him and he got hurt, so maybe he'll take a different approach towards riding.

  9. i think james stewart is a couple of wrecks away form being just like travis pastrana!!!!Pastrana was so fast and injuries did him in..

  10. It definitely hurts that class. The slower riders are not pushing quite as hard to get faster because most of them have a goal to just get on the podium. Reed is now the man to shoot for, and after seeing him running with Bubba, he has proved that he has picked his game up a little more this year. With RC out of the picture and Bubba out for the season, I don't think Reed will quite keep up the progress. I'm sure he will continue to dominate, but his intensity might start to lack a little. I think everything behind 1st place is the thing to watch.

  11. i dont think its good that stewart got hurt but i think it will be great for tv  and i think if a few other riders come through with wins that will boost their confidence then when stewarts back hopefully we se some really good competitive racing

  12. Personaly Stewart should have been here racing, so he can win a nother championship. Reed sucks, he is a number 3 if ricky and stewart were there he is number 3. I wished stewart did not get hurt because win Ryan Villapoto comes to the 450 class in 2009 there is a new champion in the store for you.
