  1. In todays standards Thomas Jefferson is what ?the American Revolution was a violent protest

  2. Yes it is Constitutional.  Remember that the protesters do _not_ have the right to interfere with the convention nor with the people attending it.

Sadly, protesters tend to ignore the rights of other people.

  3. Constitutional.

Protestors often cause dangerous situations. Fights, riots and damage to property. Really I don't see why people protest like they do.

  4. That it is a tough one. The 1st Amendment means that protesters have a right stage their protest no matter what the issue. Nobody has the authority to overrule the founding fathers. That said authorities do no need some power to keep both the protesters and those they are protesting safe from those few bad apples who use such events to cause chaos. Also they need to be able to keep their city functioning. By telling protesters they can not march down this street they can allow people to go to work, go home etc. Still when this is done the protesters voice must be heard by whom they want it to be heard by.

  5. Yes, Constitutional. As protests have increasingly gotten violent in the past 10+ years, it is in the public's best interest to do this. Of course, if these professional protesters/anarchists could ever protest peacefully, this wouldn't be necessary.
