  1. I am 51 years old and remember my parents fear during the cuban missile crisis in 1962 and even though I was just a little girl, I understood that there was something really scary happening at the time. I remember after that having H-bomb drills in school, the whole "duck and cover", the town would sound the sirens and we would all get under our desks and hold our arms over our heads....as if that would shelter us in case of a nuclear attack....HA.....Maybe it's just paranoia from those scary times, but I've alway kind of known somehow that I would see WW3 in my lifetime. You know what Einstien said about WW3? He said he didn't know how it would be fought, but that WW4 would be fought with rocks and sticks. I have always been somewhat of a "survivalist", I never feel safe unless I have a lot of water and food stored....

  2. not intriguing at all..it is scary

  3. On the contrary, I think its utter stupidity for our governments to condone and justify the killings of 2000 Russian civilians which could possibly lead us to WW3. From my point of view, Saaskashvilli should be put on trial like Saddam Hussein or Bin Laden as they are all terrorists and murderers.

  4. No, I think it sucks.

  5. To be honest, as an 18 year old, yes it is. I say this because all my life I was raised to believe that the world was perfect, chrome pipes and peace forever and ever. Then 911 happened, then the war in Iraq, the 2004 election, escalation in Iraq, the Democratic victory for the House and Senate in 2006, watching the march on the pentagon of 2007 on youtube and seeing thousands of young activists (and there were quite a few!), being yelled at and insulted by pro-war demonstrators for exercising their rights of free speech and being able to assemble peacefully. Then the economy worsened, and I witnessed gas prices reach record highs, as well as seeing for the first time a deeply divided and polarized nation. The Jena 6 in Louisiana proved to me that rascism wasn't a thing in history books, as well as the Russian invasion of Georgia. The current presidential race with Obama and McCain is by far one of the most historic presidential election to date. I'm sorry I didn't really answer your question, but from the perspective of a young adult, yes, the times we now find ourselves are very interesting to me. I'm curious as to how this all unfolds, but I dread it at the same time. Peace!

  6. yes!

  7. Not a problem.

It will all be over very quickly.

  8. i don't feel we are that close to WW3

but it is a exciting time

  9. Russia is not a threat people!

People need to stop listening to conservative talk-radio!
