  1. I burried my last fish he was so sweet I miss him. One time I flushed my fish that I really liked he was so sweet but I wrote a note on toilet paper and flushed it with him it was sooo sad.

  2. What else would you to it. The sewer system ends in a river or the ocean anyway ... and isn't that where your fish would want to go when it dies ?

    Sorry, for your loss.

  3. i guess. but if i were you id burry it.

  4. this is for the "contaminators"

there is absolutely no way for toilet bowl water to contaminate your tap water. none. there is an air gap that prevents backflow. 100% reliable.

    flush em.

  5. I know some people...and i'm one of them, feel like there fish are part of the family like dog or cat.  They do pass though...and you've got to do something with them, so I see nothing wrong with flushing them!!

  6. i have done it, only i felt paranoid that it contaminated the water.

rather bury it, or if you cant wrap it in plastic or whateva and throw it out in the trash!! its gross but yeah its life!!

  7. i burried my fish one time and a cat got into him.

    i suggest flushing.

:( sorry to hear your fish died.

  8. No, first if I was really attached to a fish I would feel bad for flushing it, but flushing could introduce diseases to wild fish populations and wipe them out, so I find it irresponsible to flush fish.

  9. Argh! In the last two weeks we had to flush two algae eaters, one Chinese and one Pleco.

Both were very tiny, it was so sad when they died.

We only had them for a couple of weeks though, so I wasn't too attached, therefore, they were flushed.

On the other hand, if any of my goldfish die, they will be buried as I'm much more attached to them than the algae eaters.

  10. No, just remember that the water you drink from the sink is connected to the plumbing from your bathroom.

As well as you can contaminate the water system and make people sick.

Also some places it is ILLEGAL to flush anything that was once live or plants down the toilet.
