  1. Walk, ride a bike, or use public transit.  The only form of "protest" that will do any good is to significantly reduce one's consumption of non-renewable energy sources.

No, its not time that we "stand up about high gas prices".  However, it IS high time that we get realistic about the lifesyle choices we make.  We live on an overpopulated planet that has limited natural resources and struggling ecosystems.  High gasoline prices are just a symptom of the underlying problem -- an unsustainable level of overconsumption.

  2. Stop topping off your tank if you don't need to. Why give them all your money. Limit yourself to 10 gallons each time you go to the station, this is especially for those who don't drive far.

  3. FOR ABOUT $ 200.00 TOTAL COST, YOU CAN BUILD A HYDROGEN-ON-DEMAND SYSTEM FOR YOUR VEHICLE!

YOU CAN INCREASE YOUR MPG AS MUCH AS 270%!!

SAFE!! EFFECTIVE!! YOUR CAR OR TRUCK WILL RUN SMOOTHER, COOLER, CLEANER, AND HAVE MORE POWER!!

THIS IS 90 YEAR OLD SUPRESSED TECHNOLOGY! THIS IS THE ONE THAT THE OIL COMPANIES DO NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT!!

THE MAKERS INVITE YOU TO TRY THIS TESTED AND TRUE TECHNOLOGY, AND EVEN TO USE THEIR TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE MONEY BY BUILDING THESE SYSTEMS FOR YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, CHURCH MEMBERS, AND ANYONE ELSE!!

YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID! YOU WILL BE THE MOST POPULAR PERSON AROUND! THIS IS HOW YOU CAN STAND UP TO THE OIL COMPANIES, OPEC, AND OIL SPECULATORS!  GOOD LUCK!

  4. It's time we did something to start moving away from gas (at warp speed).    We have no control over gas prices.    Oil is a GLOBAL commodity and the USA is a huge importer.    Taxes represent a tiny proportion of the cost of a gallon of gas and in the US, we have one of the lower tax rates as compared to other countries.   So, we could lower the cost by 30 cents / gallon but that would not help much.  OPEC is loving the profits they are making and there is no incentive to change things.   As long as we are buying at our current levels, the cost will be high

The ONLY solution is to use less oil.

  5. I thought it was bad filling up at a dollar a gallon....therefore I quit using what I did not need. In other words cutting consumption is the main priority. It kills me seeing people driving 30-40 miles for goods that are right near them.....until people stop wasting it it will go higher. Society would be better off standing down to high gas prices and .....imagine this....riding a bike or walking.
