  1. If you are questioning whether it's wrong or not, you already have your answer. It is ignorant to judge based on wealth, people can be so mean!

  2. It is a question that really you have answered yourself.

  3. some people just choose to be like that

if someone has less money, it doesn't mean they have any lack or less right to experience in life.

  4. You can simply not associate with with them if you wish, but to look down your nose at the less fortunate shows a certain lack of class.

  5. My mom and I talk about this all of the time.  My mom raised me to never look down at someone who may have less than I have.  She always told me a few things.  One, "the same ppl you see on the way up, just may be the same ppl you'll see going down", and "you know where you've been, but you don't know where you're going."  I think those who look down on the less fortunate have a self-esteem or confidence issue.  I look at it like this, ppl should be comfortable and feel good regardless of what class of ppl they're around.  If it makes them feel good to look down at ppl because they're poor, then, they have an intra-personal issue.  I don't look at a person's class as a qualification to be in my circle.  I look at a person's heart because social and financial classes could change for anyone, but if a person has a pure and genuine heart, that will NEVER change.  Believe it or not, in my experience, the ones who were in the so-called "high-class" were the ones who kept up a bunch of mess.  I agree whole-heartily with you when you stated that ppl who look down on the poor are ridiculous.  I mean, what does that prove??????

  6. Yes, I think it's wrong to look down on people because of how much money they do or do not have. BUT I also think that it is wrong to sit around and do nothing and expect the world to be handed to you. So as long as you're working hard at getting what you do have - no matter how hard it is - then no one has the right to look down on you.
