  1. sure do. why, as a parent, would you knowingly bring something into you house that could possibly harm your child? doesn't make sense to me

  2. depends on where and how they kept the pet.

  3. Sounds like it.  If they KNOW it is possibly vicious, and don't keep them under lock and key!

  4. If the parents want to keep a pet and knows that it can endanger the child, they need to make sure to keep it away from the child and also make sure the child stays away from the pet. If the child wants to see the pet, then the parents NEEDS to be there with the child to supervise.

  5. no along as the child knows it's there and that it is hard for the pet to get out of where ever it is

  6. No, because any animal is capable of turning on the owner and harming a child. It is simply a matter of training and properly caring for the animal, and properly containing/restraining the animal as necessary to the species.

**Wow, I hope those who are saying yes own no pets whatsoever. If you are, then by your logic you are endangering your children.

  7. depends on the pet, any animal can turn on you in the right circumstances. you need to elaborate.

  8. I do. I also don't know why people (my brother being one of them) would keep pit bulls around children.

  9. An animal that is not domesticated... yes.

  10. Not really

  11. Why just exotic?

It's usually because of the ignorance surrounding them. I used to have a boa. and would again, with my 16 week old daughter.

    Boa's are adorable snakes.

Of course they're dangerous, but have you seen the pointy little teeth on a pekinese??

Animals are animals and should never be left alone with children. Period.

  12. no. i think ur just trying to get someone u dont like in trouble

  13. No, I don't believe that owing an exotic animal is considered child endangerment. As long as you know that there is a chance of the animal becoming vicious and you take the proper precautions then I think it is fine. Any animal can turn on the owner or child at any time. Just be very careful with the child around the animal and never leave the animal or child unsupervised. If you don't mind me asking what kind of animal are you talking about?

  14. No, all animals are capable of turning on their owners. Even dogs can become vicious.

  15. YES

  16. No I have a snake and I know how to handle it. If they bring in a cougar or something like that then yes but just because its an exotic pet? no

  17. No. All animals can have that tendency. We have a beagle and she COULD turn "vicious". But does that mean she shouldn't be allowed around our son? Or that we are endgangering him? It depends on the owner and how they are treating the animal.

  18. No.

There are ways to keep it away from your child. If there's plenty of supervision, why would it be a problem?

Should it be child endangerment to have sharp objects or a hot stove in your house? These are things that could seriously hurt the child,  but that doesn't mean that the child is in danger at all times.

  19. yes definitely, my hubby had  adog and she was so sweet then one day she tried to bite me so i made him get rid of her. i dont want an animal around that could hurt my family
