  1. I think Daniels was a good plot device in the Enterprise story, but they should have done more with him.  The Temporal Cold War was an excellent idea, but it simply wasn't developed enough.

But you're right, he did tell Archer certain things about the future.  Archer hadn't even heard of the Temporal Prime Directive yet, and he still knew enough not to want to hear what he had to say.

  2. Not Really, I think their is just too Much Time travel as it is In Star trek, I mean so many episodes in the Original, The next Generation, Voyager, DS9, and even 1st Contact and Now Enterprise, man really, enough time travel.

  3. I personally didn't like him, I mean he was a good character, but I think his involvement took away from the series.  I say this because without Daniels, we probably would have gotten to see more of the 22nd century, than we actually got to see.  As a plot device he was good, but he detracted from the purpose of the series which was what happened before Kirk and Spock took center stage.

  4. I actually liked that idea, and wished they had developed it further.

Star Trek already has a Temporal Investigations Division as seen in DS9.

So, why couldn't Daniels be a member of a future version of that same agency?

"City of the Edge of Forever" TOS, "Cause and Effect" & Yesterday's Enterprise" TNG, "Trails and Tribblations" from DS9, and "Relativity" ST: Voy were all really good episodes throughout the Star Trek series that dealt with time travel.
